A Pastel Christmas

What a busy week it has been! I didn’t have too much time to craft this week so I decided to make some cards using only patterned paper. That’s right, no stamping, no coloring, no embossing, no ink blending…just patterned paper. I got a beautiful paper pad (Sugarplums) by Recollections and used the cut aparts as my focal points on the cards. I chose some of the wonderful pastel papers to use for my panels and layers. I was so excited to get this video done on Sunday, when mid-recording, my camera stopped recording. It took me a while to notice, and by that point I had already completed a few more cards. I tried to record again, only to get an error message (memory full). Since I use my iPad to record, I realized I needed to free up some space before I could continue to record. As I said, it has been a busy week, so I never got around to cleaning up the memory or recording the rest of the video. I did finish ten cards and took some photos (which I added to the end of the video and below). At this point, I will be looking to get a separate camera to record (any suggestions would be greatly appreciated). Thanks for continuing to support my crafty venture. Hopefully I will get a new camera soon.

I am the mother of four, grandmother of ten and wife to my wonderful husband of almost 40 years. I am finally retired and have chosen to focus my extra time on papercrafting. I am fortunate to be a part of several design teams and love working with each of them. I am fortunate to have a very supportive family and am sure they will continue to support me during this endeavor. Thank you for joining me on this new and exciting venture.
