Wish me luck on this one. This is my first collaborative hop with my new blog and I am hopeful that I will have many more to follow. Being a part of this amazing community keeps me feeling connected. This month’s theme was Critters and/or Stencils. I used so many wonderful products to make this. I don’t typically plan out my cards but I thought I should try doing that for this particular card. I laid out my stencil and stamps to try to envision how they would look. Once I decided on how to lay out my images, I stamped my images with stamps by Clearly Besotted. I then masked the images and followed by using My Favorite Thing’s English Brick Wall stencil to create the brick wall background. I followed up by ink blending the ground on the scene with Distress Oxide Vintage Photo. Once I was happy with my background, I removed the masks and used my Copic markers to color the images. The sentiment on the sign is from MFT’s Four Legged Friends stamp set. The finishing touch, I think, are the adorable Doodlebug sprinkles hearts. 😉
