My weekly video is a bit different than my usual videos. I was so busy finishing the 300 cards for my annual Christmas Card donation, that I did not have time to record a card making video. I did, however, want to try my hand at an unboxing video so I thought it would beContinue reading “Simon Says Stamp Kit Unboxing & Card Share”

Black Friday Shopping
My latest YouTube Video is now live. I was stumped on what to do for today’s video so I asked my husband for his opinion. He said “do something with Black Friday.” He is a genius! As soon as he said that, I knew exactly what stamp I was going to use. I pulled outContinue reading “Black Friday Shopping”
November2020 Collected Crafty Collabs Hop
This month’s theme was Christmas and/or Texture Paste/Mousse. I had fun using more goodies from my stash for this one. I will add these three cards to my annual donation of Christmas Cards. For the first card, I began by ink blending on some white card stock using Distress Oxide Inks (Stormy Sky, Blueprint Sketch,Continue reading “November2020 Collected Crafty Collabs Hop”
Warm Hugs
I’m continuing to work on Christmas cards this week. I decided to make a few cards using one background stamp and some Distress Oxide inks and sprays. I used Simon Says Stamp’s “Modern Poinsettia” background stamp and VersaFine Claire Nocturne ink on Bristol Smooth Watercolor paper as well as on some Recollections white card stock.Continue reading “Warm Hugs”
Veterans Day Card
Today I decided to make a patriotic card in honor of all the veterans who have risked their lives for our freedom. As the daughter of a WWII Veteran and the mother of a US Marine Veteran, I am so very proud of all the men and women who have served and continue to serveContinue reading “Veterans Day Card”
Sheetload of Cards – Christmas 2020
I just love using up my patterned paper so I used a card sketch to make six quick cards using 6×6 patterned paper from my stash. I made several Christmas cards using the November 2020 Sheetload of Cards sketch by Call Me Crafty Al. Her monthly sketches are available for download to her subscribers soContinue reading “Sheetload of Cards – Christmas 2020”
Making Christmas Tags
I realized that we are almost in November and I don’t have enough Christmas tags for my family’s gifts. Every year, I help Santa Clause with wrapping and tagging all the gifts for my ever growing family. I usually spend my birthday (two days before Christmas) doing all the wrapping. I love doing this andContinue reading “Making Christmas Tags”
October 2020 Collected Crafty Collabs Hop
This month’s theme was Thankful and/or Foil/Shiny Element. I waited as long as I could to make this card because I was waiting for my order of Gina K. inks (full set) to arrive. Unfortunately, my order was delayed (by the post office, not Gina K.) so I went ahead and made this card usingContinue reading “October 2020 Collected Crafty Collabs Hop”
Five Christmas Cards Using One Background Stamp
I’m still working on my annual Christmas Card donation of 300 cards. I have a few more to go so I thought I would make a few using just one background stamp and different coloring techniques/mediums. I made these five cards using the “Gift Box” background stamp by Simon Says Stamp. For the first cardContinue reading “Five Christmas Cards Using One Background Stamp”
Playing with Circles
As you may already know, my stash of birthday cards has been depleted so I chose to make another birthday card to add to my pile. I pulled out a couple of items I purchased from Simon Says Stamp during Stamptember. I was going to use the stencil and stamp set, but ultimately decided toContinue reading “Playing with Circles”
